PBW Distiller’s Yeast is a high-performance strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, specially developed for efficient alcohol production. It offers superior sugar metabolism, ensuring high yield and consistent fermentation performance across multiple feedstocks.

Alcohol Tolerance:

  • Grain: 14 – 15% v/v (Fermented Wash)

  • Molasses: 10 – 12% v/v (Fermented Wash)

Usage Guidelines

For Grain Fermentation

  • Dosage: 0.3 – 0.4 kg per KL (1000 L) of grain slurry

  • Propagation (if prefermenter available):

    • Use 5% sugar grain slurry

    • Duration: 6–8 hours

    • Transfer during fermenter filling

  • Maintain temperature: 32–34°C

  • Add nutrients/decontaminants as required

For Molasses Fermentation

  • Dosage: 0.2 kg per MT of molasses

  • Propagation (if prefermenter available):

    • Use 5% sugar molasses wort

    • Duration: 6–8 hours

    • Transfer during wort filling

  • Maintain temperature: 32–34°C

  • Add nutrients/decontaminants as required

  • 4 × 2.5 kg OR 20 × 500 g vacuum aluminum foil pouches

  • Packed in 10 kg cartons
